Pre ArrivalBy AirNewquay is our closest Airport about a one hour journey by car By Train or CoachPenzance is 7 miles east of Boskenna Home Farm with a national train and coach station situated close to the harbour, here there is a large rank of taxi available, plus a car rental office. By CarTravel to Penzance on the A30 then on to Newlyn and take the B3315 about 5.5.miles from Newlyn no requirement to leave the B3315, Boskenna Home Farm is signposted on the left. Arrival and Car Parking FacilitiesGuests arrive at the farmhouse through the granite archway across the cobbled courtyard to the front door of the farmhouse. Then greeted by their host and taken to the cottage personally and shown around. There is ample parking on the tarmac drive in front of the cottage. There is ample lighting at night. Main EntranceThe entrance to the cottage is through a sliding door to the right of the glass fronted lounge. Guests are shown around the cottage explaining all the important facts about the cottage and asked if they have any questions regarding either the cottage or location. Lounge/dining RoomLight and airy room with under-floor heating throughout the cottage for additional heat there is a wood burning effect convector heater. A comfortable settee and stool and glass topped table with wrought iron legs and upholstered matching chairs. BedroomThere is one step into the bedroom a spacious room with 5’wooden bed stead firm mattress and matching bedroom furniture and fitted wardrobe. Glass door leading onto the patio area. BathroomThe bathroom is fitted with large double ended bath and 1200cm shower with curved end shaver point mirror washbasin and toilet. KitchenThe kitchen is bespoke fitted ash kitchen units and granite work surface. Appliances include a multi-feature oven, microwave, Ceramic hob, refrigerator/deepfreeze, dishwasher, washer/dryer machine, plus many other additional electrical appliances. Open plan to the lounge/dining room one window overlooking the parking area and garden and stable door opening down two steps onto a covered outside area where the waste bins are situated. GardenThe garden is enclosed garden with a comfortable seating area, large granite stone feature with graveled area and lawn. Arrival and Car Parking FacilitiesThere is ample parking in the tarmac car park just above and adjoining the farmhouse. Assistance with luggage is always offered to all guests. Entrance to farmhouse is through the granite arch way across the cobbled courtyard to the front door. There is ample lighting at night. Main Entrance and ReceptionThe reception hall has a traditional cornish slate floor slightly uneven in places, one chair, an information table plus a book case. Registration forms are filled out here. Guests are shown around the public areas and then escorted to their bedrooms and the facilities explained personally. Public AreasSecond door in the left the lounge a large room with the open fire lit in the winter, two large settee’s and a antique wooden chair with higher sitting. The furniture is free standing and can be moved on request. The dining room is the first door on the left on the ground floor and seats up to 9 guests at four separate tables. The most of dietary requirement can be catered for i.e. vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets. BedroomsThe two bedrooms in the farmhouse are on the first floor reached by an easy wide stair case with one quartered landing, both with lockable doors. One has a 4’ 6” double bed and the other a 6’ double zip and link bed or two 3’ single beds. There is good access around the beds and furniture in both rooms. Bedroom suitesTwo ground floor bedrooms accessed from the cobbled courtyard (breakfast served in the farmhouse) both with lockable outside doors. Both rooms have 5’double beds with good access around them. En suite bathroomsThe en suite bathroom in the farmhouse are shower ensuites with 750cm shower trays toilets, washbasin and light/shaver points. The en suite bathrooms in the ground floor bedrooms one has a separate bath and large 1200cm/750cm shower, the other a bath with shower over the bath with shower curtain again both rooms have toilet washbasins and light/shaver points. GardenThe garden is accessed from the side of the farmhouse turning left from the car park a large garden with comfortable sitting area in the summer.
