Boskenna farmhouse is a beautiful granite 200-year-old Georgian house set around a cobbled courtyard, situated on the south coast of the Land's End peninsula. The cottage is located close by and is set in its own walled garden. Both the farmhouse and cottage each have their own large sheltered patio with comfortable furniture an ideal place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the gardens and surrounding area. 5 star bed and breakfast is provided in the farmhouse and courtyard rooms. For those requiring 5 star self catering accommodation, the luxury Boskenna cottage makes a perfect retreat for couples. The fields around us are home to our pedigree South Devon cows with their new born calves grazing the fresh pastures throughout the spring and summer. From here you can wander through fields and lush woodland down to the sea at St. Loy. Here the sweeping expanse of rocks is undisturbed, except by the cry of the sea birds and this must be the warmest cliff side in the whole country! Turning inland, you can walk through the bluebell wood up the valley to see the birds, rabbits and maybe the odd fox or badger, then on to the country road up a small hill turn right and stroll down our farm lane. In spring and summer, you will be greeted by the stunningly beautiful display of wild flowers that explode everywhere along the coastal path, contrasting the sea with shades of the deepest purple to emerald green and beaches of fine white shell sand. We think it’s the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. |
